OVERVIEW

At Datto, I played a key role in shaping the company’s brand strategy, digital experiences, and marketing initiatives as it evolved into a cybersecurity leader. I guided the design execution of a corporate rebrand, led UI/UX for virtual conferences, developed national OOH advertising during Datto’s IPO, and directed omnichannel content campaigns—ensuring a cohesive, high-impact presence across all touchpoints.

Corporate Rebrand

Datto’s first major brand evolution to reflect its expansion into cybersecurity

OUTCOMES

I redefined Datto’s visual identity to align with our new brand strategy, directing a team to implement the system across all marketing channels. Launched in Q1 2022, the new system preceded Datto’s acquisition by Kaseya, whose refreshed visual identity reflects the updates made to the Datto brand.

Virtual Experiences

Engaging 2,000+ MSPs during the COVID-19 pandemic

OUTCOMES

I led design direction for DattoCon NOW (2,000+ attendees) and MSP Marketing & Sales Day, creating event branding, virtual platform UI, booth templates, and marketing assets for each digital experience. The platforms fostered industry discussions, expert insights, and peer networking, reinforcing Datto’s thought leadership among MSPs and driving high engagement despite the shift to virtual events.

Datto's IPO & first public brand campaign

OUTCOMES

I directed the design and development of Datto’s IPO advertising, including billboards in Times Square and Silicon Valley and an animated wall at the New York Stock Exchange. The team developed a corporate sub-brand with iconography to introduce Datto’s story to a global audience. The campaign established Datto’s public market presence and reinforced its leadership in the MSP community.

Content Campaigns

Datto’s flagship research report and data-driven marketing initiatives

OUTCOMES

I led the design and data visualization for Datto’s 2021 Global State of the MSP Report, overseeing layout, infographics, interactive web content, and marketing assets. I directed a team in creating paid ads, social graphics, and webinar visuals, ensuring the research was visually compelling and easily digestible. The report strengthened Datto’s thought leadership, increasing engagement with MSPs and reinforcing Datto as a trusted industry authority.
